Stephanie earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Grace College. Since that time, Stephanie has worked with children, teens, adults, couples and families using CBT, Client Centered and Solution Focused interventions, adapted to the unique needs and goals of clients. Prior to graduate school, Stephanie worked/volunteered with children, juvenile delinquents, foster children and families, community mental health organizations and lead a children’s ministry in a church. Stephanie has training in CBT, Trauma, DBT and EMDR. Stephanie has completed 20 Continuing Education Credits yearly since her licensure in 2010 that range from issues affecting all age groups, racial issues and trauma issues, mental health diagnoses. In 2010, Stephanie began her role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Bowen Center, Family Counseling Center, Grace College Counseling Center and currently, Choices and Changes.
Stephanie works with Adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, anger management, co-dependency, grief, life transitions, parenting, relationship issues, self-esteem, self-harm, women’s issues. Children 10 and up and adolescents with anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, grief and loss, trauma, abuse, neglect, relational difficulties, behavioral difficulties.
Does not participate in court hearings or court-ordered services related to child custody disputes
Can conduct SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessments
Integrates faith principles in therapy if client desires.
