Joe is a graduate of Huntington University’s Masters of Counseling program. He did his undergraduate work at the Indiana Institute of Technology, where he graduated with top honors and received his Bachelors degree in Psychology. Joe also received training in Cognitive Processing Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. Joe has been practicing since 2020. Prior to his work as a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, he worked as an English teacher at Troy Alternative School where he also counseled while completing his internship hours. Joe enjoys the challenges of working with adolescents as well as helping adults work to become the best version of themselves. Joe has been happily married for more than a decade and is the proud father of three children. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, writing, and reading all the books he can. Joe has a soft spot for husbands and fathers, as he is both. He enjoys helping men become the best version of themselves; assisting them in meeting their goals as husbands and dads. Joe uses a variety of therapeutic approaches in his work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered.  Joe typically sees clients ages 10 and up. Joe has experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, behavioral Issues, teens, and parenting support.
