Lisa earned her Masters in School Counseling from Indiana University and completed the Licensed Mental Health Counselor program at Butler University. Lisa has also completed additional trainings in DBT and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).  Lisa has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She uses a variety of techniques and skills drawn from therapeutic modalities; including Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Therapy, DBT, family therapy, trauma-informed, psychoeducation, and play therapy. These techniques and skills are adapted to meet the individual needs and goals of each client. Lisa has experience with autism, ADHD, anger, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, women’s issues, chronic illness, mood disorders, grief/loss, life transitions, parenting, and relationship concerns. Lisa believes that the therapeutic relationship is a trusted partnership where she supports and encourages clients in using their strengths to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Prior to her work as a mental health clinician, Lisa worked with children, adolescents, adults, and their families as a behavior consultant and school counselor.
